My Favourite Envelope Set That I’ve Listed Yet // Vintage Sheet Music Envelopes

Hi everyone!

Sorry. I won’t make it a habit to “advertise” my new business on my blog, but I just made my favourite set yet and I simply can’t resist showing you! So please tell me what you think of it in the comments too.๐Ÿ˜

What do you think? Should I make more of this design?

Bye for now!

So…many of you have noticed that over the past several weeks, I keep darkly hinting a mysterious “surprise”. So I have. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Well, after weeks of planning, it’s finally here!! Can you guess what it is?

I started my own business!

Yep! And I’m so stinkin’ excited about it!!!! It’s is a handmade envelope business, and “the proceeds” are going to help me save up for my dream trip to Scotland. My church is going in May of next year and I want to go so much!!! I still have family over there that I’ve never met! So this business is just to help me a little with my dreams.๐Ÿ˜

So here below are my very first products! Right now I am using the Mercari marketplace, but when I make $12 from the envelopes I’m selling there (Lord willing), I’m going to purchase a domain and build my own website for them as well. I will probably also branch out to eBay eventually.

Note: You can click on the each image to go see the Mercari listing, which includes more images of each envelope. ๐Ÿ™‚
This six piece set is my personal favourite. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s actually technically a twelve piece set, because each of them comes with a matching “teabag envelope”. (That’s what you are seeing inside the envelopes in this picture.)
This five piece set was fun to make; I made it from a British magazine and most of them are from an article about Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland.
I love these cute little guys! They’re called pocket envelopes, and they’re the perfect thing to add to a letter to your penpal. Each of them has a pink, blank card on the inside where you can write a note, a Bible verse, a quote, draw a picture…anything!
Tinymail!!! Who doesn’t love a cute itty bitty wittle envelope?
Cute little four piece set with striped lining. They each come with a matching teabag envelope!
Enter, one of my favourite designs! These envelopes are made from maps, and I think they’re so cool!
And another big fave of mine– this envelope is made out of vintage paper from ‘An Anthology of Italian Song’.
I think these are SO PRETTY! There’s just something about the colours…
I really like these colours together too.

What do you think of them? As you can see… I genuinely like my own work… I have to keep myself from using them all up when I’m trying to sell them, haha! Some of these are (I know) a bit overpriced (i.e. the single envelopes); this is just because Mercari for whatever reason, won’t let me list anything for lower than $5… so… But when I have my own website, those will be sold less expensively. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m dying to know what you think of them! Please be sure to comment and let me know!

Yours truly,

The Surprise Reveal Is Happening Tomorrow Morning!

Just wanted to let you all know that the surprise I’ve been mentioning in posts for a little while now will finally be revealed TOMORROW MORNING!! I’m so excited!!!!

See you then!

David Had Kittens!

Yes, you read that right and I’m not crazy! David is our amazing cat, who is a girl…despite her name. The story behind that is actually quite simple: we thought she was a boy and named her David and loved the name and thought is was funny. Then we found out she was a girl, and decided to keep the name because it just made it that much funnier! It cracks people up all the time, which is awesome.

Anyway… she had kittens last week, and they are the most adorable kittens ever!! So, of course, I had to write a blog post about them and share their cuteness with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

Their names (temporary names, since we’re not keeping all four!) are Larry, Harry, Henrietta, and Mary… and in that order, lol! We are hoping to keep Henrietta, whose full name is Henrietta Boffin, after a character in Charles Dickens’ Our Mutual Friend.

Aren’t they just the most adorable little things?! And David is a very good mamma. ๐Ÿ™‚

What do you think is the best name for a kitten/cat ever? Do you have a cat?

See you all soon! Don’t forget– there’s a BIG surprise coming soon!!!

Yours truly,
