Today was perfect. It was chilly but not too chilly, rainy but not too rainy, and just grey enough to make inside seem super warm and cosy. I got just a few photos from the delightful cup of of coffee my best friend, my sister and I had before tonight’s performance (which went SO well, by the way!).

My sister Ruth (left), and my best friend Bekah (right). They look so cute! 😍
They had the coolest chandelier.
The gorgeous vintage coffee bar.β˜•
A rather weird selfie…πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜‹
A cool light fixture thingy.
More wonderful vintage-ness. 😍
My awesome “Bach Bach Bach” bag!
My sister, daydreaming.

Hope you all enjoyed these photos! How are you all doing?

God bless!

Every year for as long as I can remember, we’ve gone to my grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving. And my grandmother’s house is beautiful. My grandfather, who I never met, built it– and he modeled it after the beautiful homes in colonial Williamsburg. So since my grandmother’s house is a Williamsburg reproduction home, and as such, it’s very photogenic! I took pictures of all of the decorations and setting up for Thanksgiving, so I hope you all enjoy them!

My sister and Grandmother, setting the table.
The beautiful china and silver.
Selfie. πŸ˜‹
Pretty chandelier.
More pretty place settings.
Even more…πŸ˜‹
I love old windows. There’s just something about them, do you agree?
A peek up the stairs.
A Fall decoration.
The entryway light.
I.LOVE.THIS.PIANO!!! It’s an antique– real ivory and ebony keys! It’s sadly of tune, but I still play it anyway. πŸ˜‹
Looking out on the screen porch.
Cosy rocking chair.

Wee china houses.
Wooden pilgrims and porcelain pumpkins.
The entryway.
The gorgeous piano again. 😍
The living room.
Silver pumpkin and a china bird bowl.
A wooden turkey on the side table.
My great great grandparents. I think. There might be one more great. πŸ˜‹
My sister and I, each taken when we were twelve.
The table centerpiece.
Decorations in the kitchen.
The dessert china and silverware.
Thankful napkins. ☺️
Looking outside.
Adorable bear hugging a candle…😍🐻
Tea, sugar, and styrofoam pumpkins.
The Thanksgiving playlist. I love Phillip Glass’s piano pieces.
The cornucopia and carmel filled Hershey’s kisses.
Our pumpkin cake! My sister and I made this and we were so proud of it. ☺️
We also made those orange meringues. They were pretty, but a bit chewy. πŸ™„

Which photo is your favorite? What are your family’s Thanksgiving traditions? Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving food?

Stay tuned for part two!

God bless!

David had kittens…again!

Yes, you read right! Many of you probably remember that last Spring, our cat David (who is actually a girl…) had an adorable batch of kittenpaws, one of which I kept (The Moon). Well…two and a half weeks ago she had s’more. She literally always has the cutest dadgum kittens on the PLANET! Lookee!!

(Sorry about the small images– my internet is too slow to upload bigger ones…*facepalm*)

There are three grey kittens, one black with white paws, and one calico. One of the grey ones is hiding under the bed in the above picture. πŸ˜›
We call this little darling ‘Bella’, and try not to get too attached…
The flash makes this little dude cross-eyed!! XD
My youngest brother calls this black and white one ‘Otis’. Doesn’t it suite him?
One of the greys. *hearteyes*
“I am darkness.” ~Otis the Insanely Adorable
Me and the friendliest grey. Love this little dude!
Run away!!

Aren’t they just the cutest!! What so hard about your cat having kittens, is that it doesn’t matter how many kittens you’ve seen in your lifetime– it is so hard to not get attached! I mean– who needs Pinterest when you have that kind of cuteness right in your house?!

Be sure to give them a warm welcome in the comments below! Sorry I haven’t been posting a ton [ahem, a.k.a not at all] lately– I’ve been very busy with my new job (which I LOVE, by the way). But I’ll try and pop back on here whenever I have a minute!

Lots of love!

Β·The Moon and HenriettaΒ·

Hello awesome person reading this post! How have you been doing?

Today I’m going to share what’s been making me smile for the past several weeks– my kittens! I’m sure most of you remember that our cat David had kittens a couple months ago. Well, the kitties are all grown up now, and two of them moved to a new home several weeks ago (Harry and Barry). The other two, The Moon and Henrietta, we got to keep! (Yay!πŸ₯³) The Moon is actually mine– my first “real” pet that’s all my own! Henrietta is sorta everyone’s, but she’s my mom’s especial favourite so she’s kinda my mom’s cat, haha. Anyway, they are both adorable, and I really hope you enjoy these pictures!😻🐈

Sleeping siblings.
Henrietta, wondering why I’m disturbing her beauty sleep to take her picture.
The Moon’s adorable paws! 😻
Overload of kitty cuteness!
Doesn’t he look like a teddy bear?!
Henrietta is nicknamed The Princess– for good reason! Isn’t she pretty?
The Moon, enjoying life as a flower.
Sleepy siblings again.
Couldn’t resist including this picture… He got a little stuck in the mesh pocket on the side of the playpen! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I just realized that most of these photos are of them sleeping, lol! They do sleep a lot, being growing kittenkins.😜 Plus they’re easier to take pictures of when they are asleep and being still!

What do you think of my kitties? Do you have any cats? What are their names?

Till next time!
